Welcome to the final edition of the 2011 Toluna newsletter!

As I look back at 2011, it’s clear that Toluna has undergone great change. For instance, we’ve seen a record number of traditional market research clients use PanelPortal™ to offer branded online communities to their clients.  These communities provide the ability to ‘listen’ to on-site feedback, and conduct studies literally in real-time, among other benefits.

We’ve also been investing in the future; specifically, in tools that enable our clients to streamline decision-making via TolunaAnalytics™ and in various technologies that improve the respondent experience.  In addition, for those companies looking for fast feedback at an affordable price, we are now able to offer QuickSurveys and the Toluna Global Omnibus (Click here to view a webinar that provides tips as to when to consider using QuickSurveys™ as part of the market research tool kit).

Last, but not least, it is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Jim Fredrickson, who joins us as our Group Chief Operations Officer. Jim brings a wealth of experience with him, having worked in very senior positions both at Ipsos and Harris Interactive. He’s a star and I have no doubt that he will further brighten our lives as well as those of our clients!

Recently, we attended the very exciting EphMRA conference in Basel, Switzerland where we launched the first edition of Toluna’s Global Healthcare Barometer. In June 2011, Toluna conducted a survey of 400+ physicians in four European countries; UK, Germany, France, and Spain. Where available, comparisons with data from recent surveys of 350+ US doctors graciously provided by Harris Interactive are defined. The comparison of these two studies is showcased in the Global Healthcare Barometer, included in this newsletter.
